Why did we create this blog?

This blog is authored by David and Kirsten who have recently been saved by His good grace.

"Grace Under Pressure" means we seek the courage to defend the faith and stand as witnesses to Him in a world that no longer believes.

Kirsten comes from 5 generations of Methodist ministers. She surrendered her life to Jesus Christ and became a Christian in May 2006. David was a life-long Mormon who did the same in July 2007.

"We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved." (Acts 15:11)

"Courage is grace under pressure." (Ernest Hemingway)

"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men [and women] of courage; be strong." (1 Corinthians 16:13)

"I am put here for the defense of the gospel." (Phillipians 1:16)

The URL for this blog represents what has become David's favorite scripture as he became a new creature in Christ:

20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me

21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing! (Galatians 2:20-21)

We hope that this blog will be a blessing to you. We pray that amid the pressures of this world, you will come to know God's grace.
